Regardless of the number of messages required to send a single Bangla picture message, Citycell is now charging a flat rate of Tk. 2 per Bangla SMS request sent to 1412. Depending on the length of the Bangla Message, minimum 1 to maximum 4 SMS text messages are required. The upper bound is necessary because picture messages consisting of more than four text messages are found to be very delayed. This bound is set by Citycell and may vary time to time. The following examples will give you some idea about how many text messages your picture message will require, but it is always an approximation. And the number of Bangla Letters is quoted without counting the short vowels and spaces. Also the sets supporting less than 160 characters per text message will require more messages for the same Bangla Picture Message.
